Privacy notice
Last updated: 28 September 2026
This notice covers the Crazy Elephant website and the Crazy Elephant game for iPhone and iPad. The short version: the developer collects no personal data. There is no tracking, no analytics, no advertising and no account.
The website
This website is a static page. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and collects no data about you. Fonts, pictures and videos are served from this site itself, so your browser makes no requests to other companies when you open it.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages by GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Like any web host, GitHub records technical details of each request (such as IP address, time, requested page and browser) in server logs to run and secure the service. We have no access to these logs. See GitHub's privacy statement for details.
The game
- Crazy Elephant has no user accounts and no sign in of its own.
- The game shows no ads and contains no advertising, analytics or tracking code. It collects no usage data and no crash reports, and it sends nothing to the developer.
- Your progress (stars, best shots and times, stats and earned achievements), your stock of extra balls, your settings and the levels you build yourself are stored on your device.
iCloud
If you are signed in to iCloud, the game keeps a copy of your progress and your extra balls in your own iCloud key-value storage, so they sync across your devices. This copy also holds a random identifier Apple gives the app for each of your devices, and the App Store transaction numbers of your extra-ball purchases, so that every purchase is counted once. Settings stay on each device. The levels you build and their results stay on the device where you built them.
This data is stored by Apple in your iCloud account under Apple's privacy policy. The developer cannot see or access it.
Game Center
Leaderboards and achievements use Apple's Game Center. If you sign in to Game Center, the game reports your best shots per level and pack, your total stars and the achievements you earn to Game Center, where other players can see them depending on your Game Center settings. Game Center is run by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. If you do not sign in, nothing is reported.
Purchases
Unlock All Packs and extra balls are sold as in-app purchases through the App Store. The purchase is handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Apple processes your payment details and Apple Account under Apple's privacy policy. The developer receives no personal data from a purchase.
No selling, no sharing
We do not sell, rent or share any data about you, and we do not receive any that we could share. Apple processes iCloud, Game Center and App Store data as described above as part of the services you use on your device.
Deleting your data
Delete the app to remove everything stored on the device, including the levels you built. To remove the copy in iCloud as well, open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name, then iCloud, then Manage Storage (or Manage Account Storage), choose Crazy Elephant and delete its data. Game Center scores and achievements can be managed or removed in the Game Center settings of your device.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, and to complain to a data protection authority (in Austria, the Datenschutzbehörde). Since we hold no personal data about you, there is normally nothing to access or delete. If you email us for support, we keep your message only as long as needed to answer it.
